Evan, Wesley holding Ethan, Leksi, Reece, & Galina. The kids had a great time at Pops & Grandma's house in Georgia (as did the adults, but we're not nearly as photogenic!)!
Now that all the parties and school programs are over, we can kick back and enjoy the next few days with our family, playing games, baking and eating lots of goodies, with a good fire goin' to keep us toasty, and carols playing to keep our spirits bright!
Reece, a clone trooper (not to be confused with the storm troopers on either side of him); Wesley, a ninja (what else?); Leksi, a princess; Galina, a generic witch - I think!
All is well at the Wearing household. The girls are doing great in preschool, the boys are adjusting well to the rigors of private school. Rick's business continues to thrive and I have had the opportunity to fill in more often at work. We thank the Lord daily for our blessings!
The three amigos just arrived in Providence; at the airport for the return flight home!
What an incredible trip we had!!!
Providence, RI has a "Waterfire Festival" in the summer. They light 100 bonfires in the river at dusk and keep them burning past midnight. This drummer was making some impressive noise with his "drums". Tod even got to hold one of his drums for him for a while! These tiles were all over the walls downtown. They were created by the people of Providence following 9/11.
Leaving Woodstock for an easy 75 miles back to Providence, our starting point. We went to Federal Hill for dinner. It's like a Little Italy and we ate a fabulous real deal Italian dinner.
Parked along the road was an Orange County Chopper.
This is The Flume, a natural gorge , which you can see if you look close in the picture with Rick off to the side.
